I started this blogging journey less than two years ago, and it's amazing to look back at the collection of posts. It's easy to forget the time and energy that I put into this since I am building it one post at a time, but when I see them all together I am beaming with pride!
This blog has prompted conversations, spurred thought, opened connections to new people, fostered acquaintances into friendships, and so much more.
I didn't have a definition of success when I started this. I know that any good plan like this should have a goal, but my goal was to just start it. To just do it. To put myself out there.
Well, I did it. And I am still doing it.
It's not always easy. Not everyone appreciates my content. Sometimes the criticism is harsh. Sometimes I want to do more but time prevents me (I despise this feeling). There is a consistent learning curve to keep the site updated and fresh.
There were a few months this year that I ignored the blog as other things were taking my attention. I came back to it though, and I am glad that I did.
My 2017 planning has begun and I hope you are going to continue joining me for this ride! Part of my planning was to review this year's success.
Here are the top 7 posts of 2016 ....

Other analytics that might interest you (or not):
Nearly 10,000 sessions More than 5,800 users More than 13,000 pages visited
Nearly 5,000 social media referrals
This is certainly a growing community! One of my goals for 2017 is to build a new website for my blog. The work starts in January. I am giving myself 6 months to complete this process.
