Meet Dylan, Olivia, Jason and Authentically Amy!

We are a midwest family trying to survive, build careers, grow children and stay sane.
It's not always easy, but it's certainly an adventure that has its rewards.
The last year has welcomed many changes. My husband and I have both changed jobs, we bought our dream house, and our kids are growing like weeds.
We are thankful for our many blessings. Truly.
And even though we have many blessings, we have our moments of frustration because life is full of trial and errors.
Dylan will start school this year in a full-time preschool program in the public school district. It's stressful to find the right before and after care, the right transportation, and the right amount of sanity that I need in the mornings to make sure we all start off our days with a smile.
My husband works in education and leaves very early in the morning. I have a traditional 8 to 5 job. We have a budget. I have worries and common sense. Somehow we will work it all out. And, I know that many of you are in the same situation as the Jones family.
And that is why I started this blog. I realized through my many interactions in my local community that I am not alone, and I want to make sure others know that the Joneses are just like you. You don't need to keep up with us or anyone else.
We need each other, and we can work together to create a better home, community and world.
