Stocking Stuffers for the Working Mom (and all caregivers)

Sometimes it's hard to find that perfect small gift or to fill that stocking with useful stuff.

Working parents juggle so much and we love the little things that bring convenience to our lives!

(I understand that this list is good for all caregivers and nonparents ...not trying to knock all those that make up our crazy world. This just happens to be my world at the moment).

Recently I asked some of my working mom friends to share what they would like in their stocking this year.

  • Phone cover/case (that is adorable)

  • Nice pen (or in my case, we prefer Pentel RSVPs or Sharpie Pens)

  • Fun socks

  • A good travel coffee mug

  • Travel size toiletry containers for airplane or desk

  • Gift card to Amazon, Shutterfly or the local coffee shop

  • Gum or breath mints

  • A bracelet (costume jewelry is just fine)

  • Travel size Satin Hands by Mary Kay

  • Stationery -- the pretty kind with colors and fun sayings (ban.do is a favorite)

  • Chapstick

  • Eyeglass cleaner

  • Nail polish or file

  • Eye drops (because some days we need to fake sleep)

  • Air freshener for car (because we live out of it)

  • Portable smart phone charger

  • Lottery tickets (we might get lucky and quit our jobs)

  • Return address labels (ones that make us look like we have it together)

  • Dry shampoo

  • Spray that makes your hair dry faster (it exists from Kenra)

  • A nanny (the kind that shops and cleans)

  • Gift certificate for pre-made meals for the freezer

  • Lint brush (or create a snot remover because we've all found it on shoulder once or twice during a meeting)

  • Journals (for our deep thoughts ...such as "when did I last shower alone?")

  • A pack of thank you cards or blank note cards

  • Small, cute pictures of our favorite people to make us smile

  • A personalized mouse pad with our kiddos' pics

  • Rising Strong or Daring Greatly by Brene Brown

  • Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes

  • A mental health day

I am sure that there are many more ideas. Feel free to comment below. Maybe there is something that you LOVE that I need in my stocking to make my life a little easier.

Share your knowledge!

If you click on the links in here, I might get a few cents for this. I only linked to things that I have purchased and used myself.

Also, if you love the stockings pictured, you can get them from Aunt Joy's Stockings and have them personalized. We love ours!
